House Rules

Our goal is to create a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for every client. These guidelines help us provide the highest quality experience for our community.

Our Apparatus 3 classes are reserved for experienced clients and teachers with prior studio approval. This allows us to maintain the integrity and pace of each class while creating the best experience for everyone participating.

Group Class Levels

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

For your safety and to protect our equipment:
  • Grip socks are required for every class and are available for purchase if needed.
  • We recommend avoiding clothing with zippers, metal hardware, or sharp accessories that could damage the equipment.
  • Please remove large jewelry, watches, and accessories before class.
  • Please avoid applying lotions or body oils before class, as they can make the equipment slippery and damage the upholstery.

What to Wear

If you are new to Pilates or new to the original Pilates method, we strongly recommend beginning with our Welcome Special, which includes three private sessions. These sessions introduce you to our teaching style, the apparatus, and help prepare you for a safe and successful transition into group classes

New Clients

We understand you may want to capture your experience at POP.

To respect the privacy of our clients and maintain a focused class environment, please ask your teacher for permission before taking photos or filming. Phones should only be used for approved photography or video and should not be used for calls, texting, or other distractions during class.

Phones & Photography

code of conduct

At POP, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment built on kindness, respect, and professionalism.

We ask all clients to:
  • Treat fellow clients, teachers, and staff with respect.
  • Help maintain a calm and supportive studio environment.
  • Follow teacher guidance for your safety and the safety of others.
  • Respect the studio, equipment, and shared spaces.
  • Help create a positive experience for every member of our community.
Pilates of Plantation reserves the right to refuse service or discontinue participation if behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or compromises the safety or experience of others.

Clean Equipment

Help us keep our studio beautiful for everyone.

Please wipe down all equipment after class using the cleaning supplies provided. This helps maintain a clean, welcoming environment for every client and preserves the quality of our equipment.

Our approach

Pilates of Plantation teaches the original Pilates method while honoring the individual needs of every client.

We believe the method provides a framework, not a one size fits all approach. Our teachers are committed to preserving its integrity while adapting each session to support the body in front of them.
Please store personal belongings in the designated cubbies before class.

To maintain a clean and organized studio, we ask that bags, jackets, and other personal items remain off the studio floor and away from the equipment.

Personal Belongings

Personal Belongings

Our introductory ClassPass is designed to welcome you to POP and introduce you to our studio. The ClassPass is valid for select classes only and may not be applied toward all offerings. Additional terms and expiration details will be provided at the time of purchase.

ClassPass

We understand things happen, but out of respect for our teacher's schedules and other clientele booking classes, we require 12 hours notice to cancel a class and 24 hours notice for private and semi-private sessions.

Occasionally, the studio may need to cancel a class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If a class is cancelled by POP, you will not be charged. Please ask our team about discounted private session opportunities that may be available when this occurs.

Class Cancellations

Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in before class begins. Clients arriving more than 5 minutes after the scheduled class time will not be admitted. This policy helps ensure everyone's safety and allows class to begin without interruption.

Arriving to Class

Health & Injuries

Your safety is our priority.

Please let your teacher know before class if you have any injuries, recent surgeries, medical conditions, or changes in your health, including pregnancy. This allows us to provide appropriate modifications and create the safest, most effective experience for you.
If at any time during class something doesn't feel right, please let your teacher know immediately. We encourage you to move at your own pace and listen to your body.
