Learn to Teach Pilates at POP
Classical Pilates Education is a 600 hour Teacher Training program that is aligned with the Pilates Method Alliance as an ITTAP (International Teacher Training Accreditation for Pilates). Our program will educate you to teach private or group sessions on all classical apparatus to individuals of any age, gender, or physical condition.
The course covers Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Tower, High Chair, Wunda Chair, Barrels, and more. We provide two manuals, one for mat and one for apparatus, and free online videos. In addition to the training sessions, we require observation, workouts, practice, group meetings and tests. The 600 hours is made up by the 18 hour weekend trainings, a monthly 4 hour meeting, home study, tests, observation, workouts, and practice. By the end of your program you will receive a 600 hour certificate and will be well prepared to take the PMA exam should you wish to do so.
