Bootcamp is a one-of-a-kind workshop in motion. It is tailored to the Pilates teacher, movement specialist and dedicated Pilates student. This is real time fine tuning of the eye of real Pilates on different bodies.
Enhance your teaching skills, step away from the manual, and engage in networking while learning through movement. Each Pilates Bootcamp event is unique, intimate and consistently motivating.

Kira Lamb, the self-proclaimed "Contrology Freak™", has been teaching Pilates since 2002. She is certified through The PhysicalMind Institute, Power Pilates® and The New York Pilates Studio®. Plus, she completed the S6 Pilates Teacher Intensive with Chris Robinson.
Kira is also a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in myofascial and neuromuscular techniques. She's used her skills at boutique studios & fitness clubs in LA & NYC and for 2.5yrs was the Resident Pilates Teacher & Therapeutic Massage Specialist at COMO Parrot Cay in Turks & Caicos.
She is currently the Pilates Consultant for the WNBA's NY Liberty, a regular Guest Pilates teacher at Rancho La Puerta in Mexico, and she's created Pilates classes and programs for Pilatesology®, Pilates Anytime®, Healthline and AARP. Based in NYC she teaches Pilates teachers and enthusiasts from around the world, in-studio and virtually.
Kira's love of Pilates was nurtured during her 20yr career as a professional dancer & aerial artist. Her experiences in the performing, teaching, & healing arts has solidified her belief that, how you move & feel in your body, is how you move & feel in life. And that's what inspires her teaching.

Pace is key for this workshop. Please arrive promptly to support an uninterrupted class flow. Check local traffic and plan accordingly.

3:30–4:20 Group Mat (observation students included)
No late arrivals. If you arrive late, you will forfeit your spot and join the next round. This policy supports safety and maintains the strategic flow of the workshop.
Arrive Ready! Dress comfortably and bring a change of clothes if desired. You will sweat.
Bring a refillable water bottle and any fuel you may want for the day. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided..
We are a no-shoes studio. Please remove shoes upon entry and use the provided cubbies. Grip socks are recommended.
Notebooks and pens will be available. Youwelcome to bring your own, though we kindly ask that phones not be used for note-taking.
There is zero tolerance for video or photography at any time during the workshop. This allows you to stay fully present and hone your eye. Photos will be taken throughout the day and shared with the group afterward.
If you need to make a call or use your phone, please step outside.
Listen to your body. These are demanding workouts. Rest when needed and be kind to yourself.

Additional Notes for Observers:
Please refrain from talking during workouts. Discussion may be opened in real time as appropriate. Write down all questions and save them for after class. Ten minutes between sessions will be provided for questions and bathroom breaks.
